Cubs and Scouts from Ballaugh and Malew and Explorers from the ‘Wolf Pack’ – Southern Explorers took part in this years Island at War by taking Castletown railway station back into the 1940’s.
Tea and cakes were sold to passengers on the trains and platforms
the Explorers had the pleasure of pushing a vintage steam tractor
The Explorers provided a corned beef hash for lunch
Everyone did there best to ‘dress 1940’s’
Explorer Lile ‘S’ had the chance to demonstrate her fire lighting skills
Explorer leader Roger changed uniforms from Scouts to a Colonel in the United States Army Air Force
The Scouts and Explorers also set up a casualty clearing tent
